Under the terms outlined below, Inticom Srls agrees to repair or replace a product at its discretion, should it fail to perform according to the manufacturer’s specifications during the warranty period.
Pre-Warranty Claim Requirements
Before initiating a warranty claim, please ensure:
- Installation: The product must be installed by a qualified professional, in compliance with the manufacturer’s instructions, any user guide, and applicable regional standards. Upon request, you may need to provide personnel qualifications and declarations to support your claim.
- Transportation, Handling, and Operation: The product should be transported, handled, and operated as per the manufacturer’s instructions and in accordance with international best practices in the telecommunications industry.
- Housing and Maintenance: The product must be installed, housed, and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and telecommunications industry standards.
- Prohibition of Unauthorized Alterations: Do not open, attempt to repair, alter, or remove external covers, internal parts, and/or protections on power supplies and other assembled components within the equipment without written consent via email from Inticom Srls. Any such unauthorized actions will void all rights to warranty replacement and any complimentary technical assistance.
How to Claim Your Warranty
To claim your warranty:
- Contact Us: Open a support ticket at support.inticombroadcast.com providing the product model, serial number, and production date if this last information is available.
- Detailed Documentation: Include a detailed description of the issue, along with any relevant images, screenshots from test equipment, laboratory measures, or additional information necessary for us to understand the issue accurately. Once Inticom Srls has received sufficient documentation, any instructions and permission to open the equipment while maintaining warranty coverage will be provided. Any unauthorized actions will void all rights to warranty replacement and any complimentary technical assistance.
- Timely Notification: Notify Inticom Srls within 10 days of identifying a fault to pursue a warranty claim.
- Proof of Purchase: Retain your proof of purchase and payment documentation, as these are required to process replacement claims under warranty.
Warranty Period
Unless specified otherwise on your sales invoice, the warranty period begins on the date of purchase as indicated in the invoice. Warranty periods vary by manufacturer and product:
- AEV Broadcast: 2 Years for products, 1 Year for spare parts.
- Axel Technology: 1 Year for products and parts.
- BiQuad Broadcast: 1 Year for products and parts.
- Com-Tech: 2 Years for products and parts. 10 Years for some products.
- OMB: 2 Years for transmitters.
- R.V.R. Elettronica: 2 Years for transmitters (excludes MOSFET modules, final stage cards, transistors); 1 Year for spare parts.
- RFE Broadcast: 2 Years (excludes MOSFET modules, final stage cards, transistors); 1 Year for spare parts.
- Suono Telecom: 2 Years (excludes MOSFET modules, final stage cards, transistors); 1 Year for spare parts.
- Telecomunicazioni Ferrara: 2 Years for antennas and filters (excluding connectors and cables).
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage from mishandling, transportation conditions, unstable electric supply, electrical surges, lightning, or environmental factors such as humidity, overheating, dust, or sand.
- Improper Use or Modifications, including accidental damage, misuse, incorrect configuration, unauthorized repairs, or modifications by any third party.
- Non-Manufacturer Parts or Unauthorized Assemblies: Products assembled with non-Inticom parts, repaired or modified without prior written consent from Inticom Srls or the manufacturer.
- Missing Serial Number: Products without a valid manufacturer’s serial number.
Reimbursement
Where permitted by law, any compensation or damages related to a warranty claim will be limited to the original invoice value of the goods. Inticom Srls reserves the right to seek reimbursement for any costs incurred if the product is found to be in good working order. Inticom Srls will not be liable for additional costs incurred by the buyer unless pre-approved in writing, and any such costs will be limited to the invoice value of the faulty product.
RMA (Return to Manufacturer Authorization)
- In-Warranty Returns: The customer is responsible for initial packaging, shipping, and import costs. Inticom Srls will cover packaging and return shipping costs; however, import fees remain the customer’s responsibility. Inticom will issue an RMA number and instructions to facilitate the return process.
- Out-of-Warranty Returns: The customer covers all packaging, shipping, and import/export costs. If the repair estimate is not approved, or the equipment is deemed unrepairable due to its condition, a handling fee of €60.00 + VAT will apply, plus return shipping costs.
